YouthBridge believes the business plan for all nonprofits should include building an endowment. Few agencies have the expertise or discretionary funds to invest in a long-term planned-giving effort, and that is where YouthBridge can help. When children’s agencies meet our criteria, we provide the following services for a nominal fee to build and manage an endowment program.

Our Gift Planning and Endowment Building Consultant, Dianne Johnson, has raised more than $19 million dollars for faith-based, civic and
social services organizations during the last 12 years. She also led a
thriving legal practice, specializing in estate and business succession
planning, probate and trust litigation.
As Director of Planned and Major Gifts and Gift Planning Counselor for
several Foundations and nonprofit organizations, Dianne saw the need to
help organizations invest in their futures by building long-term funds as well
as long-term donor relationships. She works with individuals to help them
develop their giving intentions using the latest charitable planning tools.
Her legal experience includes personal estate planning involving charitable
gifts, business succession planning, and charitable estate and trust issues.
This provides an excellent basis for counseling to both individuals and nonprofits concerning endowment and planned gifts.
Dianne is the out-going President of the Saint Louis Planned Giving Council,
the charitable gift planning association for the region. Dianne is a frequent
speaker and lecturer on charitable giving, and presents programs that she
developed on planned giving marketing and endowment topics throughout the
region.
As an active community volunteer, Dianne has served in a leadership capacity
with many organizations such as the Probate and Trust committee for the Bar
Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, Association of Fundraising Professionals
and the Board of Directors for the Association of Lutheran Development Executives.
Dianne is a graduate of the Law School of Washington University in St. Louis and
the University of Nebraska.
